Solids Control Equipments

Mud Cleaners

Janki Oil Tools mud cleaners are robust and reliable equipment specifically designed to maintain the quality and efficiency of the drilling mud by separating and removing particles that are larger than the barite from the drilling mud. Positioned above the mud tank on both off-shore and onshore drilling rigs, the mud cleaner consists of hydro cyclones, shaker screens and vibrating motors all assembled on a steel structure. Janki Oil Tools mud cleaner comes in three models, viz., 1000 GPM, 1200 GPM and 1500 GPM.

NOTE: Janki Oil Tools mud cleaner is tried, tested and approved by ONGC.

Shale Shakers

Janki Oil Tools shale shakers are robust and reliable equipment specifically designed to maintain the quality and efficiency of the drilling mud. The purpose of shale shaker is to remove large solids from the drilling mud, which is a mixture of water, clay and other additives used to cool and lubricate the drill bit, carry cuttings to the surface, and maintain pressure in the wellbore. Removing these solids helps maintain the viscosity and density of the drilling mud, preventing problems such as pump wear and excessive torque on drill bit.

Mud Agitators

Janki Oil Tools mud agitators are robust and reliable equipment specifically designed to ensure effective mixing and circulation of drilling mud within the mud tanks used in off-shore and onshore drilling rigs, preventing the settling of solids and maintaining the desired properties of the drilling mud.The primary purpose of a mud agitator is to keep the drilling fluid in a homogenous state by continuously stirring it. This prevents the settling of solids and maintains the uniformity of the fluid’s properties, which is essential for effective drilling and mud circulation. Mud agitators also help in suspending fine particles and additives that are crucial for the performance of the drilling mud. Mud agitators work by creating a turbulent flow within the mud tank. This agitation ensures that the drilling fluid remains well-mixed, which facilitates better handling and distribution of the fluid, improves the efficiency of the drilling process, and reduces the risk of problems such as blockages or uneven fluid properties.
